After a months hard work for both our production and fixing teams which culminated in what is being heralded as the "Best Dressed" John Smith's Grand National in living memory.

The now legendary John Smith's BIG CAN'S (pictured opposite) proved a focal point for all attending Aintree over the three days and featured heavily in the excellent coverage by the BBC in its final year at the John Smith's Grand national.

Notable events over the three days were Donald McCain's victory in the Fox hunters Chase, the first race run over the Grand National fence's since the sad passing of his father Ginger "Mr. Aintree" McCain, the amazingly easy yet beautiful victory of Sprinter Sacre.

Huge congratulations to all the team at Aintree racecourse for hosting yet another superb event and further congratulations to the team behind "Neptune Collonges" for a stunning victory in one of the hardest fought John Smith's Grand Nationals in years.
